N4: locating closures between Brie and Grand Est

Route, directions and data limitations

The N4 is part of the Paris–Nancy–Strasbourg corridor. In Seine-et-Marne it crosses Brie, including the Pontault-Combault and Rozay-en-Brie areas. The connection with the N104 at Pontault-Combault provides access to the Francilienne: a report on that road does not necessarily affect the N4.

In Grand Est, the Saint-Dizier bypass and the Ancerville area are other useful landmarks. Further east, the N4 connects Lunéville with Phalsbourg on the Nancy–Strasbourg route. These sections are far apart: the N4 road number alone is not enough to locate a closure on your journey.

What should you check before setting off?

Compare the towns and section limits with your route and check the direction, such as Paris → Nancy or Nancy → Paris near Saint-Dizier. Distinguish a closed slip road from a main carriageway closure. Coverage in Île-de-France remains partial: also read the notice displayed alongside the events.

The events shown come from the sources available for the selected night. Their number may change. No reported closures does not guarantee that the road is open.
