N166: planning your Vannes–Ploërmel journey

Route, directions and data limitations

The N166 connects Vannes with Ploërmel in Morbihan, passing through the Elven and Saint-Guyomard areas. Distinguish the Vannes → Ploërmel and Ploërmel → Vannes directions.

At Ploërmel, the Saint-Antoine junction connects the N166 with the N24. This connection forms part of the Vannes–Rennes route: the N166 itself does not extend to Rennes. If you continue on the N24, check its events too.

What should you check before setting off?

Near Saint-Antoine, check which movement is affected: access to Ploërmel, the connection towards Rennes or the return towards Vannes. A closed slip road does not mean the whole N166 is closed. Between Elven and Saint-Guyomard, compare the direction and roadworks limits with your route; do not infer a diversion from town names alone.

The events shown come from the sources available for the selected night. Their number may change. No reported closures does not guarantee that the road is open.
